COMMUNIQUÉ DE PRESSE MONTRÉAL - Le mardi 1er novembre 2016, le Centre Bell sera l’hôte de la Collecte de sang annuelle des Canadiens-evenko, présentée en collaboration avec RDS au profit d’Héma-Québec. Les donneurs sont attendus de 8 h à 19 h pour cette journée de collecte dont l’objectif est de recueillir un nombre important d’unités de sang au bénéfice d’Héma-Québec. Toute la journée, différents membres de l’organisation des Canadiens, anciens joueurs et personnalités d’evenko et de RDS se relaieront afin de remercier les donneurs de leur grande générosité. La Financière Sun Life animera également un espace réservé à la prévention du diabète. La Collecte de sang des Canadiens a été initiée par messieurs Jean Béliveau et Claude Mouton en 1981. Depuis 1998, le Club de hockey Canadien organise sa collecte en collaboration avec Héma-Québec, le fournisseur de produits sanguins de la province. Les Canadiens ont annoncé vendredi matin qu’ils avaient cédé l’attaquant Daniel Carr aux IceCaps de St. John’s dans la Ligue américaine. L’attaquant de 24 ans n’a pris part qu’à deux rencontres en 2016-2017, obtenant une mention d’aide et présentant un différentiel de plus-1. Carr avait été rayé de la formation au cours des six dernières rencontres. Sa dernière présence remontait au 15 octobre face aux Sénateurs d’Ottawa. The Canadiens announced on Friday that Daniel Carr has been assigned to the St. John’s IceCaps of the American Hockey League. The 24-year-old forward registered one assist and posted a plus-1 differential through two NHL games this season. Carr has been a healthy scratch for the team’s last six games, having most recently suited up against the Ottawa Senators on October 15. In 25 career NHL games, the Sherwood Park, AB native has racked up six goals and 10 points.
